Microbax Baxo VAM is a Vesicular Arbuscular Mycorrhiza (VAM) biofertilizer supplied by Way2Agritech, formulated for soil application. The product establishes a beneficial symbiotic association with plant roots, extending the effective root network through mycorrhizal hyphae. This enhanced root-soil interaction improves the uptake of relatively immobile nutrients, particularly phosphorus, along with zinc and other micronutrients. Baxo VAM helps crops access moisture from a larger soil volume, supporting better performance during limited water availability. Regular application promotes stronger root architecture, nutrient-use efficiency, and crop establishment. The formulation is suitable for vegetables, fruit crops, plantation crops, spices, ornamentals, cereals, pulses, and other field crops.

Stage-Specific Benefits

  • Seedling establishment & transplanting stage: Promotes rapid root colonization and stronger root development for better crop establishment.
  • Vegetative growth stage: Enhances phosphorus and micronutrient uptake, supporting vigorous plant growth and canopy development.
  • Flowering stage: Improves nutrient translocation and root efficiency, helping crops maintain healthy flowering.
  • Fruit, pod & yield development stage: Supports better nutrient and moisture availability, contributing to improved crop quality and yield potential.

Composition

  • Vesicular Arbuscular Mycorrhiza: 10 viable spores per gram with 1200 inoculum potential.

Dosage & Method of Application

  1. 1.Soil application: 4 kg per acre.
  2. 2.Frequency of application: One application during planting or transplanting is generally sufficient. In long-duration crops, an additional application during active root growth may be beneficial.

Crop-Product Advisory

  1. 1.Soil condition dependency: Highly beneficial in phosphorus-fixing soils, low-fertility soils, degraded soils, and fields with poor root development.
  2. 2.Recommended combination: Apply with compost, farmyard manure, organic carbon sources, and compatible biofertilizers for enhanced root-zone performance.
  3. 3.Standard practice to follow: Maintain adequate soil moisture, mix with solid or liquid form of competent products and apply the product close to the root zone where direct contact between roots and VAM propagules can occur.
  4. 4.Precaution: While applying multiple products together, follow the standard practice of dissolving the suggested quantity of each product into a 200-litre barrel of water, and never mix raw concentrates directly.
