Criyagen Pseudo-Gen is bio-fungicide available at Way2Agritech for farmers adopting sustainable and eco-friendly plant protection. Formulated with Pseudomonas fluorescens, a beneficial bacterium that protects crops against soil-borne fungal and bacterial pathogens together. This bio-pesticide colonizes the root zone and creates a protective barrier, suppressing harmful pathogens through competition and antibiosis. This bio fungicide helps control major diseases such as leaf spot, wilt, root rot, damping-off, and sheath blight, while improving soil fertility and plant immunity. Pseudo-Gen enhances root growth and nutrient uptake, leading to healthier crops and better yield. Being eco-friendly and residue-free, Pseudo-Gen is ideal for organic farming and IPM programs.

Key Features & Benefits
- •Special features: Pseudo-Gen works by colonizing the root zone and creating a protective barrier, suppressing harmful pathogens through competition and antibiosis.
- •Pseudo-gen, Pseudomonas, is a beneficial bacterium used to fight both bacterial and fungal diseases whereas Trico-gen, Trichoderma, is a beneficial fungus primarily used to destroy other harmful fungi.
- •Effective against major diseases such as leaf spot, wilt, root rot, damping-off, and sheath blight, while also improving soil fertility and plant immunity.
- •Additionally, it enhances root growth and nutrient uptake, leading to healthier crops and better yield.
Recommended Dosage and Target Pests
| Crop | Target Pest/ Disease | Dosage/Acre | Waiting period (days) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Paddy, Tomato, Chilli, Brinjal, Cotton, Pulses, Oilseeds, Vegetables, Fruits, and Plantation crops | Leaf Spot, Nematodes, Wilt, Root Rot, Damping-Off, and Sheath Blight | 3 kg | 0-3 Days |
Dosage & Method of Application
- 1.Soil application: 3 kg per acre mixed with FYM/compost.
- 2.Soil drenching: 3 kg per acre mixed with water.
- 3.Seed treatment: 20 g per kg of seeds.
- 4.Nursery: 50 g per sqm.
- 5.Frequency of application: 2-3 months interval.
Crop-Product Advisory
- 1.Best suited for: Pseudo-Gen is best suited for soil-borne fungal diseases like wilt, root rot, damping-off, and collar rot.
- 2.Application method: Apply Pseudo-Gen to moist soil during seed preparation, seedling transplantation, or vegetative growth, mixing it with water or organic manure avoiding any chemical fungicides.
- 3.Mixing both Trichoderma and Pseudomonas is fine because water works well for immediate drenching, but FYM provides better results by acting as a biological incubator that multiplies the microbes before application.
- 4.Recommended Combination: Can be combined with organic manure, humic acid, or biofertilizers to improve root health and plant immunity.
- 5.Resistance management: Rotate with other bio-control agents or compatible fungicides for long-term disease suppression.
- 6.Precaution: Avoid mixing with chemical bactericides/fungicides or chlorinated water. Apply during cool hours for better microbial survival.
